The ESG standards have been mentioned as a catalyst that helps businesses enhance their competitive advantage and contribute to building long-term value for the company. However, the definition and issues related to ESG practices are still relatively unfamiliar to businesses in Vietnam, unintentionally leading to numerous difficulties in the application and adaptation to the general context of the business community.
Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) in collaboration with the Institute of Development Studies, Ho Chi Minh City Centre of International Integration Support (CIIS), and Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Association (HUBA) organize the seminar “ESG – Key to sustainable development: Solutions for promoting Businesses to effectively practice ESG standards” to discuss and propose solutions to effectively promote ESG practices within the business community, as well as to update on emerging dispute trends in the application of ESG standards.

LEGAL MANAGEMENT SERIES 2024 (LMS 2024)
LMS 2024 is an annual series of events initiated by Vietnam International Arbitration Center, in collaboration with various partners, aiming to (i) Update information on legal regulations related to prominent market issues; (ii) Guide businesses on appropriate solutions to avoid risks arising during investment and business activities; and (iii) Recommend effective dispute resolution methods. Building on the success of LMS 2023, LMS 2024, with the theme "Legal compliance for adapting to the modern and green economy" focusing on 03 main fields: Real estate, Import - Export and Logistics, Energy with 09 events. The events will take place from 20th June, 2024, to 01st August, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces including Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Khanh Hoa, and Binh Thuan.
